Jeff was born in 1976 in Toronto, Canada. As a child he lived in England for five years and came back to Ontario in time for high school. Afterwards, he studied painting and photography at The Ottawa School of Art. He returned to Toronto for undergraduate work at the Ontario College of Art and Design, graduating in 1999 with a specialization in sculpture. Fresh from school, he worked in the Sculpture Department at York University where he managed a bronze and aluminum art foundry.
In 2003 Jeff entered the Masters of Fine Arts program at West Virginia University and moved to Green County, Pennsylvania. After the announcement of his wife’s pregnancy with their first child, Jeff and his wife returned to Toronto, where he completed his MFA at York University in Toronto. The following year he began teaching at the Ontario College of Art & Design. In addition to his teaching at OCAD he is also committed to teaching at Georgian College.
Currently Jeff is working full time on making art and pursuing teaching opportunities within the visual arts.
